About Life Balance Coaching

Olivia Vaughan, work life balance coach and advocate, relaxing on a chair.
My mission is to empower individuals to achieve clarity and fulfilment through work life balance coaching.
For most of us, there are two main areas we devote the majority of our time, energy, and resources to: our work life and our personal life—and the space where the two overlap. My goal in coaching is to help you align your personal and professional worlds so they support each other and you can thrive as a whole.

The Life Balance Coaching Method

As a work life balance coach, I believe meaningful change doesn’t happen through extremes or overnight transformations. Instead, I help clients take steady, intentional steps that align with their values—resulting in long-term, sustainable balance.

Clarity of Vision

Clarity of Vision

Together, we define what “balance” and “success” mean to you. When you’re clear on your values, they become the anchor for everything that follows.

Personalised Coaching

Personalised Coaching

Effective coaching is never one-size-fits-all. We each come with our own circumstances, resources, experiences, and limitations. That’s why the Life Balance Coaching Method is built around you. Sessions are tailored to your goals, your pace, and your personality—applying relevant coaching models in a way that fits your life, not someone else’s.

Small, Sustainable Shifts

Small, Sustainable Shifts

The Life Balance Coaching Method doesn’t promote radical shifts or overnight transformations. It prioritises lasting change, moderation, and balance. We’ll work on small, practical steps you can integrate into your everyday practices, routines, and habits.

Balanced Progress

Balanced Progress

With clarity on your objective and the right mindset and support, you’ll begin to take aligned action towards your goal. In a world where extremes are fashionable and fast living is mistaken for productivity, this method offers something different: a simple, focused, and sustainable way to reach your goals. We go at your pace, creating momentum without overwhelm. It’s about consistency, not perfection.

Proof Through Practice

Proof Through Practice

As you begin to implement small, sustainable changes, the results speak for themselves—whether it’s achieving a long-held goal, navigating a life transition with more clarity, or feeling a deeper sense of balance day to day. Over time, the progress becomes tangible. You’ll start to notice it in your routines, the decisions you make, and the confidence with which you move towards what matters most.

Certified work life balance coach, Olivia Vaughan.
After a decade in finance, I began to feel unfulfilled.

I had lost my sense of purpose.

Encouraged by motherhood, I felt a deep pull to realign my career with something more meaningful.

That’s when coaching came into focus.

I became a certified life coach to help others navigate those moments when everything looks fine—but something deeper feels off. Life rarely unfolds according to plan, but with the right tools and support, we can face change with clarity and confidence.

Values

In an unregulated industry, building a professional coaching business is incredibly important to me. With so many coaches out there, it can be hard to know what to look for or what to believe. That’s why my approach to work life balance coaching is transparent: professional, tailored, and grounded in integrity.
Authenticity

Honouring the complexity of each individual. There's no one-size-fits-all model here.

Balance

Believing that lasting change comes from consistency and habits, not from extremes.

Integrity

Saying what we mean, doing what we say, and building trust through every step.

Empowerment

Meeting people where they are, and guiding them forward with care and clarity.

For work life balance coaching to be effective, it takes real commitment from both the coach and the coachee.

If you’re ready to explore a new way of working, living, and showing up in the world, I’d love to support you.
